You've come a long way, Awesome Inc.

Man, to think that it was just five short months ago that Awesome, Inc. began its slow, but inevitable takeover of the world. And here we are. The 100th post.

Yes, we here at The Inc. have only just begun, but I thought it would be proper to celebrate our 100th post with a look back at our blog so far. With idea recaps like this, I could work as a television programmer.

Since the inception, we've gotten in a fight with a Creighton fan (Fuck you, Creighton) and it appears a new battle against the South could carry us strong into the next 100 posts (Fuck you too, slavery).

MP has covered everything from coffee shops to why college basketball kicks ass. BBL has brought some nice reports from various athletic events being as he is on vacation more than President Bush. I've touched on the best season, alligators, and other things that pretty much nobody gives a shit about, but I'll continue writing about anyway. NW (peach fuzz) gave a glimpse of muy excelente posting albeit just once. Let's go, NW! And JT, well, JT pretty much writes about everything and is 75% of our blog. That drop off due to school and work has been startling by the way.

It's only a small step from getting a free copy of Grounded for Life Season One and being a lottery ticket from 1st and O st.

Here's to continued awesomeness.

- J.H Naners

Is that an Expos shirt under that yellow plastic bag?

Don't get me started on Americans who support Canadian teams.

For that matter, don't get me started on Canada.

Ya it is. JT (tallbaby 21) loved the Expos for some stupid reason. At least he was continually punished by having to watch their complete ineptitude.

Cubs #1!!!

Montreal is only about the coolest city ever. And now we are the Nationals so my team is more American than any other team in the League.

If I've said it once, I've said it 100 times...

Being a Nats fan DOES NOT make you a good Expos fan. If anything, it makes you a GREAT Washington Senators fan.

Cubs = #1 fan base ever

Let's clear a few things up:

First of all, that was me with the Expos shirt, so not only is JT fighting the Expos fight, I am too. JT was an Expos fan well before they became the Nationals. If the Expos would have had 2/3 the salary that the Cubs have had, they would have won a World Series. In fact, they were robbed of one by MLB in 94, so I don't want to hear your ineptitude shit, MP. The Cubs are NOT good.

Second of all, Canada kicks total ass. If it wasn't so cold I wouldn't hesitate to move there at all.

Third, the Cubs have the second biggest fan base ever, but nowhere near the "best" one. I guarantee there are millions of Cubs "fans" around the country who couldn't name five players on their roster. People only like them b/c they are on WGN everywhere and are perpetual underdogs b/c they can't win the World Series.

#1 - Barrett, Lee, Perez, Ramirez, Jones, Pierre, Prior, Wood, Maddux, Zambrano, Wellemeyer, Hairston, Walker, Mabry, Murton to name a few...guess I'm not one of the millions of "fans" you talk about. Not that you were accusing me of that, just wanted to make it clear.

#2 - You do realize that you and JT support a team called the Expositions (the trade fair, not the english paper), right?

#3 - As stated here:

Canada, not Barry Collier, is to blame for the recent woes of Husker basketball. And for that, I cannot forgive them.

That being said, this is easily my favorite blogspot.

Hopefully you will all be celebrating your 10,000th post someday...approximately 41 years from now.

I just don't understand the love affair with the Cubs. It's like a family that lives in a totally sweet house, has all the money in the world, but serves McDonalds at dinner parties. They are cheap and they can never ever win. You only had one thing that kept me from hating the Cubs, and then you fired Steve Stone, possibly the most damning move in sports history.

Rydogg,

Although we obviously have some different view points, I'm glad you enjoy the blog and we appreciate the comments.

Hopefully the fan base will continue to grow.

And you're right, some Cubs fans are die hards and I have no problem with them. Although MP's constant optimism can get a little ridiculous. Still time to jump on the Friars bandwagon, MP!

I cannot wait for the Cubs to kick the living shit out of the Cardinals this year.

Prior and Wood finally healthy, a good leadoff hitter, and a very good bullpen = Central winners by 5 games.

Are you talking about Providence? What did I ever say about them? Also, I'm backing off my Gonzaga pick as I watched them the other day and have come to the conclusion that they suck ass and are lucky that they play in the WCC. I still believe in the Spartans, though!

You say that every year MP! The Cubs could be decent IF they stay healthy, but I think this is still the Cards year. I'm more worried about the Brewcrew than the Cubs.
And Naners was talking about the Padres aka Friars.
As for the Dance, I'm just damn pumped to get to Vegas and do it up right! I've got a few teams in mind to ride if the spreads are looking good, but we'll just have to see. I'm always leery of getting too excited for something fearing a letdown when it does happen, but I just don't see any way this trip doesn't kick all sorts of ass!
Of course Awesome Inc. will have a full recap of the events of that weekend although will have to edit some of it I'm sure.

Tell that optimism to Naner, BBL. He is spreading all kinds of negativity around. If only he'd seen you bathing in money a few short years ago.

Mark, Spartans baby, free money!!!!
